Does turbo tax or any other software let u file returns 4 more than 1 person on the same program?

I don’t know about the legality, but you can save one’s return and start a new return with turbo tax. You would have to read the license agreement to see if they prohibit multiple returns with the same software.

I use it to do my daughters and then our taxes. I also create some what if senarios.

Yes, my family uses the same Turbotax every year. Me, my husband, my sister, my cousin, we all use the same software with no problems. I don’t think its illegal. Once you buy it, its yours to share it with whomever you please.

Actually, if you’ll read the fine print – it’s only supposed to be used by the purchaser. Everyone else using the software should buy their own copy and efile.

However, I don’t think anyone is policing it.

Softwares like TurboTax or TaxCut do allow you to file returns for more than one person on the same program. However, if the software you are using includes free e-file, the free e-file may only work for the original filer. Check out to help decide which tax software is best for you.
